Bucci, Ralph, Brother, FSC
Biography
Born in Narrangansett,Rhode Island, Brother Ralph Bucci graduated from La Salle Academy in Providence, Rhode Island in 1966. He then entered the De La Salle Christian Brothers' novitiate and attended Catholic University. He returned to La Salle Academy to teach for eleven years, eventually becoming assistant vice-principal, before becoming an English composition and ceramics teacher at Salve Regina University for two years beginning in 1982. After earning his MFA in ceramics at The George Washington University in 1987, he returned to Salve Regina, teaching design and managing the art gallery. During this time he also served on the Rhode Island State Arts Council. Briefly he returned to the De La Salle Provincial before working again at Salve Regina, coordinating academic advising. Later he taught at La Salle Academy again, and then at Manhattan College in Riverdale, New York.
