Biography
(Ralph) Thomas Campion Sherman [Stonor], 7th Baron Camoys, GCVO PC DL, born in April 16, 1940, is the nephew of former Salve Regina trustee Noreen Stonor Drexel (1922-2012) and great grandson of William Watts Sherman. The 7th Baron Camoys is the son of Sherman Stonor, 6th Baron Camoys, and Mary Jeanne, daughter of Herbert Marmaduke Stourton.
The 7th Baron Camoys is a British peer and banker who served as Lord Chamberlain of the United Kingdom from 1998 to 2000, and the first Roman Catholic Lord Chamberlain since the Reformation.
He married Elizabeth Mary Hyde Parker, born September 3, 1939, in 1966, and the Lord and Lady Camoys have four children. Three generations of family still reside at Stonor Park, the family estate, in Henley-on-Thames, England. Home to the Stonor family for more than 850 years, it is one of the oldest family homes still lived in today.
