Biography
J. Clement "Bud" Cicilline served in Rhode Island State Senate from 1993-2002. A tireless advocate for improving mental health services throughout his life, he retired in 2013 as CEO of the Newport County Community Mental Health Center, where he worked for 45 years. Cicilline graduated from Providence College with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and earned a Master of Science degree in clinical psychology from the University of Rhode Island. He is the uncle of U.S. Congressman David Cicilline (D-RI).
