Biography
Thomas Flanagan served as the Vice President of Administrative Services and Community Relations for Salve Regina University from 1992-2003. He received an Associate’s degree in General Education (1958), a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Relations from Boston University (1960), a Master’s of Secondary Education from Boston University (1968), and a Master’s of Science in Management from Salve Regina University (1988).
Prior to stepping into the Vice President office, Flanagan was a colonel in the United States Army. His military career concluded when he became a professor at the Naval War College. There, Flanagan was also the executive assistant for the chair of the management department.
As the Vice President of Administrative Services and Community Relations for Salve Regina University, Flanagan’s responsibilities included (but were not limited to) serving on various administrative councils, long range institutional planning and development of the university, and coordinator of university rental, conference, and special events.
Flanagan is an associate professor in the Business Studies and Economics department at Salve.
