This series contains correspondence regarding the beginnings of Salve Regina College, its activities and financial state. Included is early correspondence to Jesse H. Metcalf regarding the possible donation of a building and lawyer Cornelius C. Moore about the sale of property from Robert Goelet. There is also a letter to Mother Mary Matthew regarding scholarships for Chinese students, information on which can also be found in the papers of Mother Mary Hilda Miley, RG #3.1.2
